Objectives: 1. Improving young women’s access to employment opportunities through vocational training;
2. Enabling girls and young women to develop their fullest potential through social, cultural and educational programs.
Brief: The vocational program is geared to job market requirements, offering training in various fields: Secretariat, preschool education, nursing, hotel management, etc.
To enhance young women’s capabilities, the program combines practical training with socio-cultural education by providing awareness in the areas of: Gender equality, reproductive health, first aid, foreign languages, and others.
Following this one-year program, graduates are assisted in finding suitable employment.

Duration: Since 1998 – ongoing
Location: Beirut and Tyre.
Target Group: 1. Impoverished & marginalized girls and young women;
2. School drop-outs

Challenges: Despite orientation programs highlighting the need for qualified hotel management staff, especially in South Lebanon, the majority of young women are opting for hairdressing and beauty courses, due to socio-cultural factors.
Results: Currently the Program graduates close to 150 students per year. According to follow-up evaluation studies, 70% of them are currently employed, with decent and stable salaries.
Future Plans: 1. Expanding training programs to other branches and health centers, in Beirut and rural areas.
2. Initiating new training programs at the main headquarters in Tyre.
