Supporting the Political Participation of Lebanese Women. |
| Brief: |
In 2002, the Lebanese Women Council conducted five training workshops in the five Lebanese districts to encourage and strengthen women’s political participation.
As part of the project, the council organized a TV spot competition on women’s political participation among university students.
Young people were involved in this project as trainees and as participants who were responsible for raising awareness on women’s political participation. |

Leadership Training Targeting Young People. |
| Objectives: |
Educating young women and men on their electoral privileges and their rights to enable their participation in political decision-making through responsible voting. |
| Brief: |
The Lebanese Council of Women in collaboration with the Frederich Ebert Foundation organized a training workshop on young people’s electoral privileges, targeting young women and men, aged between 18 and 21 years old. |
