This project was co-executed by UNFPA in collaboration with OPEC Fund, Jordan.
The main objectives of the Project have been the following:
1. To raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and strengthen national efforts to detect and respond to the pandemic particularly targeting the vulnerable groups in Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen;
2. To focus on NGOs capacity building;
3. To train community health workers to deal with reproductive health issues affecting youth, including the prevention of HIV/AIDS and another sexually transmitted infections.
