| Objectives/Goals: |
Objectives of 1-1:
a. A national strategy is developed and implemented to improve knowledge on HIV/AIDS and other risky behaviors among adolescents;
b. To provide life skill training to adolescents using peer-to-peer communication methods;
c. To involve youth in planning, monitoring and evaluating programs in partnership with UNICEF and government ministries;
d. To increase the participation of young people in the national print, broadcast and telecast media so that their opinions are heard;
e. To encourage the community and families to participate in decisions that affect them, and to spread awareness regarding the rights of young people;
f. To initiate development programme by the National Committee that target vulnerable women;
g. Spread awareness on women rights among communities in order to encourage them to use the health, and education services available.
Objectives of 1-2:
National Child Welfare Commission (CWC) aims to ensure the effective implementation of the CRC as well as to report on the Child Rights.
Objectives of 2-1:
To increase primary school attendance rate for girls by 10%.
Objectives of 2-2:
To develop non-formal approaches targeting school dropouts in local communities.
Objectives of 3-1:
a. To improve the quality of basic education and assessment of life skills and other services for children with disabilities.
b. To improve the living condition of disabled children at institutions.
Objectives of 3-2:
Train the orphans, street working children and children in conflict with the law on basic education and life/vocational skills.
