" The E-Government for Lebanon document was produced in a long version, executive form and as a brochure in Arabic and in English versions and were submitted with a priority list and cost estimate for a 7 year plan to the Council Of Minister towards the end of 2002. However, this was never put on the agenda of the council to pass. Ever since that date, the document is still at the council.
On the other hand, OMSAR has taken the initiative to distribute the document to several stakeholders to get their feedback and input. In addition, the document as we speak is being updated and several initiatives are taking place to revive the issue of getting the support from all stakeholders and the government so as a plan of action to mobilize funding and trigger projects.

Neverless, work has continued in developing projects wether through OMSAR or other ministries and agencies. Yet, this work is not always being coordinated nor consildated towards bringing it under the umbrella of one strategy. This is currently being prepared to take place even though the e-gov strategy has not been formally adopted by the Council of Ministers.
