" The Kingdom strongly believes that eGovernment is a compelling tool in order to provide better services to the citizens, residents and businesses while also increasing the internal efficiency and productivity of the government. The eGovernment strategy appreciates the fact that as the resources are limited, the sustainability of the eGovernment program will depend on the ability of eGovernment to effect savings and productivity gains. Therefore, while the majority of priority projects are for delivering better and faster services to citizens, others such as Document Management System, Monitoring and evaluation and capacity building system will help improve government efficiency and productivity. Furthermore, the choice of electronic channels is likely to ensure lesser rush at the counters thereby helping government to save money. "
