" For any program to succeed or a new way of doing things to be adopted it is imperative that the users of the system trust the processes and the systems. As recognition of this fact, following steps have been taken to build confidence and trust of people:
1. Opinion of both the residents and businesses was tendered through a voice of business and voice of citizen survey while drafting the eGovernment strategy. Besides ensuring that the peoples expectations and needs are captured, this exercise has built trust and awareness about the eGovernment program.
2. An elaborate awareness and education campaign has been planned to ensure that people are comfortable using the electronic systems.
3. Feedback mechanism is being built so as to improve services as per user feedback. This is likely to increase trust of people as their feedback gets reflected tangibly.
Enabling legislation has been drafted to ensure the legal validity of electronic records on par with paper records.
