" eGovernment in the Kingdom is driven by the top most leadership. The Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology (SCICT) and Technical Committee for Information and Communication Technology (TCICT) are overseeing the implementation of the eGovernment strategy. Central Informatics Organization (CIO) houses the Program Management Office which is overseeing the implementation of the eGovernment strategy. Besides, CIO is mandated to provide IT infrastructure and support to all the government agencies. Moreover, the Kingdom has undertaken the development of IT skill sets and resources in the government as a priority. This has lead to a situation wherein almost all ministries have stand alone IT departments. Each of these IT departments are responsible for the implementation of IT in the respective ministries. "
