Welcome
The Technical Cooperation programme of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) aims to respond to priority development needs identified by member countries through technical and policy advisory services as well as capacity building activities.
In delivering its Technical Cooperation (TC) programme, ESCWA relies on a network of TC focal points based in each of the 14 member countries. This website, the Technical Cooperation Network Webportal, was created upon the recommendation of the preparatory meeting on “Establishing a Technical Cooperation Network for the Exchange of Knowledge” that was convened in Cairo from 28-30 October 2007. It aims to provide one-stop access to technical cooperation activities and events, regional advisors and details on past missions. It is intended to be a space where TC focal points can find all relevant information related to ESCWA’s TC programme.
