ESCWA Regional Advisor on Millennium Goals Adib Nehmeh moderated a four-day workshop in Amman during the month of July on “Tailoring and Planning National Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) at the National Level in Palestine”.

The workshop aimed at setting a national formula of the MDGs in Palestine, and identifying policies and required interventions to meet these goals, with the need for compatibility and integration with the National Development Plan 2011-2013 and the relevant sectoral plans.

Twenty Two Palestinian experts took part in this workshop and discussed with ESCWA team, which consisted of five experts including Nehmeh, ways of tailoring millennium goals at the national level and comparing them to the Palestinian National Plan.
