Who We Are

Planning, monitoring and evaluation of the programme of work gained in importance over the past decade with a view to meeting the concerns of the member States about increasing the effectiveness, efficiency and impact of the development work of the United Nations. We are a team of Professionals with experience in several fields and varied national background. We bring regional and inter-regional perspectives to the Division and a good understanding of the strategic concerns of ESCWA. The Programme Planning and Technical Cooperation Division consists of the Office of the Division Chief and two sections, namely the Programme Planning and Coordination Section and the Technical Cooperation Section, which also provides management support for the Regular Programme of Technical Cooperation (RPTC).
