10th Regional Workshop on
the International Comparison Program in Western Asia

The objective of the 10th ICP Workshop was to bring
together the ICP national teams with the ICP regional
office and the World Bank to review the preliminary set
of results for total GDP PPPs as well as lower aggregate
PPPs for 2005, PLI and per capita real GDP figures and
agree on all data inputs used for its calculation and
get the countries' endorsement.
The meeting was set out mainly in the purpose of
tackling the main issues pending and presenting the
input data and the resulting estimates of PPP, PLI and
per capita real figures for all the member countries of
Western Asia Region at the level of Total GDP as well as
at the level of lower GDP aggregates.
