The ICP-Western Asia Executive Board met in Beirut during
the period 24-25 March 2004. The Chairperson, Mr. Abdul
Rahman Al-Mansoori, and three members namely Ms. Maral
Tutelian. Mr. Saber Al-Harbi, and Mr. Mohamed Al-Badrawy,
attended the meeting. In addition, Mr. Fadhil Mehdi, Chief
Economic and Analysis Division and Ms. Neda Jafar,
Statistical Officer and ICP Team member, attended the
meeting.
During the first and second day of the meeting the members
of the Board followed up on the recommendations made in
the first Executive Board meeting; reviewed work progress
of the ICP in the region and at the Global level, and
discussed the proposed budget, timeline, and fund-raising
strategy.
The Board approved all the activities of the work
programme, which will take place until the next meeting in
June 2004.
