Subject: Statistics | Issued in: 2012 | Symbol: E/ESCWA/SD/2012/1 Bulletin of Industrial Statistics for Arab Countries 2004-2010 نشرة الإحصاءات الصناعية للبلدان العربية 2004-2010 العدد السابع The Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization (AIDMO) and the Secretariat of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) agreed to issue biennially the Bulletin of Industrial Statistics for the Arab Countries. This seventh issue presents a set of main indicators relating to industrial production, and average wages of employees in the manufacturing industries on the basis of the international definitions and concepts of industrial statistics. In addition, the bulletin shows the detailed industrial statistics for each Arab country which cover the number of establishments, number of employees, wages and salaries, output, value added, industrial production indices and the main industrial products. Data in this bulletin are based on official sources; inter alia, ministries of industry of the Arab countries, specialized industrial data-bases, as well as national statistical offices. International statistical publications of the United Nations and other international organizations are also used as sources.
