ACTIVITIES IN THE PIPELINE : : SCP : : Iraq : : Sayid Dikhil in Dhi Qar

Sayid Dikhil in located in Dhi Qar Governorate, Southern Iraq, about 20 km north of Al-Nasiriya center of the governorate. The local municipality has proposed a suitable site for hosting the MTCC component. Additional activities are underway to identify further suitable sites for hosting the other components of the SCP.
Population A total of 15,000 in 3,000 families
Economy Essentially an agricultural town with grains as the main product.
Sayid Dikhil produces around 1,000 liter of raw milk per day;
