ACTIVITIES IN THE PIPELINE : : SCP : : Yemen : : Hadran
Hadran is a rural village in the Bani Matar directorate in Sana'a, and is home to the city's largest community. Hadran offers health, educational and tourist services and is known for its beautiful and distinctive architecture.
The population of Hadran, according to a 2006 census, is around 2,750 people, consisting of 1,460 males, 1,290 females, and 328 families, with an average of 8.5 children per family.
Agriculture represents the main economic activity and source of revenue, and the main crops grown are coffee beans, "Qat" and small quantities of grains and fruit. Hadran will house both an MTCC and an AFPU for coffee production.
