1. Technology Incubators in Syria
A. Information and Communication Technology Incubator
An ICT incubator is under development by the Syrian Computer
Society (SCS) in cooperation with the Syrian Ministry of
Telecommunications and Technology.

B. Other incubators in Syria
Plans are under way for the establishment of business incubators
in at least two universities in Syria: the Syrian-Malaysian
Multimedia University (to include an IT business incubator) and
the Syrian-Indian Higher Institute for Information Technology (to
include a software development incubator). The projects are led by
the Ministry of Higher Education in cooperation with foreign
partners, namely in Malaysia and India.

2. Technology Parks in Syria
A. eVillage
The Electronic Village is being planned by the Syrian Ministry of
Telecommunications and Technology and will be located in Dimas,
close to Damascus. E-village will specialize in ICT and will
include an incubator.
