	Al-Mishkat Al-Mishkat is an independent social science research center with emphasis on human development. The center has a special focus on employment, governance and poverty.

Cairo Demographic Center
The Cairo Demographic Center is an educational and research institute jointly established by the United Nations and the Egyptian Government in 1963. The agreement, between the two parties was renewed several times before it was terminated in 1991. A Presidential Decree was issued, stating that the Center be an independent institution sponsored and financed by the Egyptian Government. In January 1992 the Egyptian Government took full responsibility for the Center.

The National NGO Center for Population and Development is a non-governmental, non-profit body, legally registered at the Ministry of Social Affairs (MOSA) by decree No. 481/2000. NCPD provides technical assistance to local NGOs through networking, capacity building, developing project proposals and Fund raising in order to be able to sustain themselves.
