Data from the
Basic Socio-Economic Indicators (BASEIND),
maintained by the Statistical Economic and Social
Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRTCIC)
contains 172 indicators. It covers data from 1975 up
to the present for all 57 members of the OIC. The
data entered in the BASEIND is derived from national
data sources (statistical publication of the
National Statistical Organisations, circulated
questionnaires to the National Statistical
Organisation) and from international data sources
(The World Bank, United Nations, The International
Monetary Fund, etc.). |
