The Millennium Country Profiles cover up to 48 indicators for the period of 1985 to 2015 and are provided by the United Nations Statistics Division

The Key Indicators of the Labour Market (KILM) is operated by the International Labour Office (ILO) and included in 1999 18 indicators designed to satisfy the ever-increasing demands of governments and the social partners (workers' and employers' organizations) for timely, accurate and accessible information on the world's labour markets.

Data from the World Population Prospects, containing official UN estimates (1950-2000) and projections (2000-2050) for every country in the world, including estimates and projections of 28 demographic indicators, including birth rates, deaths rates, infant mortality rates and life expectancy, are available in Excel format.

Data from the Basic Socio-Economic Indicators (BASEIND), maintained by the  Statistical Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRTCIC) contains 172 indicators. It covers data from 1975 up to the present for all 57 members of the OIC. The data entered in the BASEIND is derived from national data sources (statistical publication of the National Statistical Organisations, circulated questionnaires to the National Statistical Organisation) and from international data sources (The World Bank, United Nations, The International Monetary Fund, etc.).

The Social Indicators Database of the NGO Social Watch is a collection
of indicators related to social development in the UN member states. It
offers the users possibilities to generate graphs with the data
requested obtain customised data tables combining different indicators,
selected countries or years.
