This publication depicts the different roles of women and men in the Syrian Arab Republic.  It is based on an original Arabic document that was produced by joint collaboration of the Syrian Central Bureau of Statistics and the State Planning Commission.  The publication presents gender disaggregated statistical indicators and data, along with time trends and stratifications by area of residence. Issues tackled include demographic changes, health and economic activity as well as leadership and participation in public life. (English, 100 pgs)
